Camille Maris brings demonstrated leadership and an extensive background to the elm Planning team. She worked as a meeting planner at Meeting Protocol Worldwide from 2005 – 2008. Camille currently runs the Contracts, Strategic Sourcing, and Vendor Management divisions of elm Planning. She is based in Manila, Philippines where elm opened their Asia-Pacific location in 2012.
What would you do if you knew you could not fail?
When I was a child, traveling and staying at different hotels always had an element of allure and mystery. I had an overwhelming curiosity of why people travel, how do they choose where they stay and how do they feel when they’re away from home. To me, it was an opportunity and I always knew I was meant for this. Starting elm along with my business partners gave me that chance to blend my passion for traveling with my experience in planning.
Best holiday destination ever: El Nido, Palawan for now, but there are other places to visit so check back with me next year!
